Coral, Salt and Linen — Three Fashion Sittings

A double-breasted coral suit against grey stone and a blown-out ocean horizon. The colour does all the shouting, so the direction stayed quiet — weight settled onto one hip, chin dropped, hands left where they naturally fell. Flat overcast light kept the texture of the fabric readable instead of burning it out.

Midday on open sand is the light most photographers plan around. Used on purpose it gives you saturated colour, hard-edged shadow and frames that read from across a room. A rattan chair gave the set an anchor — something to lean into, sit against and move around, so the poses stayed active rather than arranged.

Neutral seamless, one soft source, wet hair and an oversized blazer. Stripping a set back this far leaves nowhere to hide, which is the whole point: the frame rests entirely on gesture and the line of a shoulder. Shot on a closed set with the level of coverage agreed in writing beforehand.
